Saddle Seat is an English style of riding. It is ridden in a flat saddle that lays comfortably on the horse's back. This style of riding relies on the ability to separate the seat and hands so that the rider can navigate the horse around the show ring and show it off to the best of its abilities . This style of riding is to enhance the horse's natural inclination to show off and display its confidence.
Saddle Seat can be ridden on not only the American Saddlebred but the Morgan,Arabian, National Show Horse, and Fresian.
